Outboard engines, boats and fishing gear valued at over $47,000 stolen
Three 40 horse-power outboard engines, two cigarette boats and a quantity of fishing gear valued at over $47,000 were stolen at Saline Bay, Mayreau on three separate occasions over the weekend.
A release from the police said the thefts, which were reported to them on Saturday, March 5, took place between Friday, March 4 and Saturday, March 5.
The release said the three grey and red Yamaha two-stroke 40 horse-power outboard engines, the two cigarette boats and the fishing gear, which have a total value of EC$47,305, are the property of three residents of Mayreau.
