Prominent businessman OT Mayers is dead

Prominent Vincentian businessman Omroy Theophilus “OT” Mayers is dead.

The philanthropist and proprietor of Finishing and Furnishing, a leading furniture manufacturer and retailer, died at his home this morning.

He was 76 years old.

A source close to the family told SEARCHLIGHT that Mayers died at home while looking at his favourite sport, Cricket, on television, while seated in his favourite chair.

Mayers is survived by a large extended family, many friends and loyal employees.May he rest in peace.
