He had taken up full time duties at the family run operation at Buccament.

Family, friends, loved ones, of Jason and his family kept up a vigil at the family residence on a hilltop overlooking Buccament Bay to the west and Petit Byahaut to the east. Many of the deceased’s friends also held a candlelight vigil on the spot where the accident occurred.
Four other occupants survived the impact. Jemma Punnett, a cousin of Jason’s, was flown to Trinidad for treatment suffering with injuries to the head and to her left arm. Annie Gaymes and Paul Parris were up to press time still patients at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital suffering from multiple injuries, while Matthew Punnett, another cousin, was treated at the hospital and discharged. Jason Punnett will be laid to rest at the St. Mary’s Anglican in Buccament this weekend.
