Two of this country’s 2005 National Scholars are very happy with their achievement.

Nineteen-year-olds Beneka Browne of Peniston and Deon Pompey of Murray’s Village, won themselves opportunities to pursue their tertiary education free of cost.{{more}}

Browne, the daughter of Vergel and Hanson Browne put herself in contention for the top award by scoring A for Mathematics, B for Biology and Chemistry, and Cs for Physics and General Paper.

Pompey, the daughter of Marcus and Christina Pompey, scored an A for General Paper, Bs for Mathematics and Psychology, a C for Spanish and D for Biology.
