No words I write should ever say

How sad and empty I feel today.

The angels came for you much sooner than I planned

We’ve braved the bitter grief that comes,

and we’ve tried our best to understand.

Karlos, why did you have to go away?

Why wasn’t it right for you to stay?

In our hearts, Karlos, you will always be.

We love you dearly and we know, Karlos, you will watch over us.

What we’re suffering is so unfair,

but one thing is for certain.

Our love for you will always be there.

We’ll cherish the moments you spent with us.

And I’m sure that if you had stayed longer

You would have continued to grace us with your charm.

A thousand words won’t bring you back

We know because we’ve tried

Neither will a thousand tears

We know because we’ve cried.

Now you’re up in heaven

With the angels above

They will take our place for now

And they’ll give you all their love.

Rest in peace my son, our brother

For all our love and memories

will hold forever near

We miss you like crazy
