I haven’t done these dishes myself, but they look so easy and delicious, we can try them together. Bacon wrapped stuffing bites

You will need:

9 strips bacon

3 cups prepared stuffing, (either package or homemade){{more}}

Toothpicks

Method

Preheat oven to 375°. Line baking tray with aluminum foil. Spray with non-stick cooking spray or rub with oil and lightly flour. Cut slices of bacon in 1/2. Form stuffing into balls, approximately golf ball size. Place stuffing ball onto centre of bacon piece. Wrap bacon around ball, bringing both sides together and securing with a toothpick. Bake approximately 20-25 minutes. Remove tray when bacon is fully cooked. Place bites onto paper, towelling prior to serving. Great for Christmas parties, when stuffing is in abundance.

Bacon cream cheese bites

You will need:

1 small sandwich loaf, crusts cut off

1 (12-ounce) tub cream

cheese spread

1/2 cup chopped fresh chives

1 pound bacon (regular thickness)

Method

Preheat oven to 400°. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Set aside. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on each slice of bread. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of chives on top of cream cheese. Starting at one end, roll each slice of bread into a tight cylinder. Wrap a slice of bacon around each cylinder, spiraling to cover the whole piece of bread. Cut each cylinder in half. Place on baking sheet and bake until crispy and bacon is cooked through, about 20-30 minutes. Serve warm.

Tip – If you can’t get the cream cheese spread, you can just place the regular cream cheese in the mixer and soften. You can also add the chives to the cream cheese while in the mixer. Flavoured cream cheese spread will be fine as well, with the omission of the chives, if you wish.
