ISAIAH 7:14

“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”

God uses His supernatural power to give us evidence that He, and He alone, can do amazing things.

This foretold virgin birth is only possible by God. It is important that Jesus is called Immanuel, which means ‘God with us.’ Jesus is unique. He is the Son of God (Matthew 3:17).

Jewish scholars agreed that Jesus would come from the descendants of King David (Isaiah 11:1-2) and be born in Bethlehem.

Since Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem, David’s ancient home. He travelled there from the village of Nazareth in Galilee. He took with him Mary and while there, the time came for her baby to be born (Luke 2:3-6).

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Christmas brings family and friends together; it helps us appreciate the love in our lives we can often take for granted. May the true meaning of the holiday season fill your heart and home with many blessings.

May this holiday season sparkle and shine, may all of your wishes and dreams come true, and may you feel this happiness all year round.

During this season of giving, let us take time to slow down and enjoy the simple things. May this wonderful time of the year touch your heart in a special way. Wishing you much happiness today and throughout the New Year.

The warmth and love surrounding Christmas is a joy to be savoured with family and friends. It is a time to give and share with one another. Here’s to wishing you the best this season has to offer.

Christmas is a season of great joy: a time for remembering the past and hoping for the future. May the glorious message of peace and love fill you with joy during this wonderful season.

This time of year brings festivities and family fun. It is a time for reminiscing and looking forward. Wishing you wonderful memories during this joyous season.

I wish a blessed Christmas to the Government and people of St Vincent and the Grenadines and a safe and peaceful 2018.

Let me extend a heartfelt “thank you” for the love and support of the following during this year:

To my co-workers and the Board at the St Vincent and the Grenadines Port Authority; I am thankful to be working with you all, and as a new year approaches, I wish each of you Jesus, the true reason for this season!

To the Wesleyan Holiness Churches – St Vincent District Board, all pastors and church workers, members and friends, may God continue to strengthen this body for the task. For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the Power of God to Salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek (Romans 1:16).

To my family, relatives and friends, the members of my local church – The Barrouallie Wesleyan Holiness Church, you have brought happiness into my life during my darkest hours; I am honoured to be your family and your friend, and as a new year approaches, I wish each of you love, peace, good health, and more so happiness,

No wonder He said: “Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6: 19-21).

I love you guys. Romans 12: 14 says, “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse,” and Matthew 5: 44, “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,”

The Just Live By Faith!

Stay safe this Christmas. Remember SAFETY FIRST and have a healthy Christmas.God bless you guys!
