Eileen Matthew of Orange Hill, Trinidad and Brooklyn, New York, died in New York on April 17th, 2013.

Eileen was the mother of Thelma James (Jas), Theresa, Gloria (deceased), Stella, Kathleen, Dianne, Joseph, George and Patricia; grandmother of 43 and great grandmother of 60; also sisters Carmen, Elfeira, Lucinda; brother Rudolph; and a host of family and friends.

You will always be loved and missed by us all.

We little knew that morning,

God was going to call your name;

In life we loved you dearly,

In death we do the same,

It broke our hearts to lose you,

You did not go alone;

For part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.

Your love is still our guide

And though we cannot see you

You are always by our side.

Our family chain is broken

And nothing seems the same;

But as God calls us one by one

The chain will link again.
