In loving memory of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great grandmother Valentina Herbert of Stoney Ground, affectionately known as âTantie Val,â who departed this life, on 11th October 2001
Fifteen years has passed since that sad day
When one we loved was called away
Remembrance is a golden chain
Death tries to break, but all in vain
To have, to love and then to part
Is the greatest sorrow of oneâs heart
Time may wipe out many things
But this it wipes out never
The memory of those happy days
When we were all together
Family ties are lasting bonds
That are woven in each heart
We will treasure your memory, mother,
For the rest of our days.
Father, in thy gracious keeping
Leave we now our loved one sleeping.
Sadly, missed and lovingly remembered by her children Agnes, Hugh, Roslyn (USA), June, Irma (England),
