Belair man shot and killed

A resident of Belair was shot and killed Monday night, bringing the number of people to be killed by gunshot wounds in the last four days to three.

Reports are that the man, a mechanic, was at a shop in the Fountain area, and shortly after leaving, he was shot.

He was rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

This latest killing brings the homicide count for 2019 in St Vincent and the Grenadines to 11.
