Congratulations to Mrs Cecily Jackson-Haynes, who graduated from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Faculty of Medical Sciences (University of the West Indies School of Nursing) with a MScN Degree in Clinical Nurse Specialist: Medical-Surgical Nursing on 16/01/15. Her outstanding performance in her Masterâs thesis entitled: The lived experience of obesity among young adults 18-30 years at a tertiary institution in Kingston, Jamaica, was selected by Faculty for presentation. She journeyed back to Jamaica in May 2014 and presented her research at the prestigious annual Nursing and Midwifery Research Conference and was also inducted into the Caribbean Honour Society of Nursing at that ceremony.
