Duo nabbed with 25 rounds of ammunition plead not guilty

Two men appeared in the Serious Offences Court on Wednesday, charged with possession of a number of bullets without a licence.

Conroy Edwards of Sandy Bay and Franklin Edwards of Rosebank were allegedly found in possession of 25 cartridges of ammunition in the Kingstown area on September 19.

They pleaded not guilty to the charge of illegal possession of ammunition without a licence under the Firearms Act and were given conditional bail of $15,000 each. They are set to appear in court again on October 17.(KR)
