Grenadian on ‘Killa Loop’ murder charge
Police have arrested and charged another non-national with murder.
The latest is Ian Blackette, a 38-year-old labourer of Grenada. {{more}}
Blackette appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Monday to answer the charge but was not required to plead as the charge is an indictable one.
He is charged with the murder of 22-year-old Rillan Hill labourer, Kenford âKilla Loopâ Samuel.
On January 21, 2007 Samuel was shot while standing in the public road at Rillan Hill when an unknown vehicle pulled up and sprayed the block with bullets. Samuel was shot in his back.
As a result of the gunshot wound, he was rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injury.
