Police on lookout for wanted man

Gerald Bell is a wanted man.

Last Thursday, at a press conference held by the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, Acting Commissioner of Police Bertie Pompey announced that anyone having information which could lead to Bell’s arrest should contact them as soon as possible.{{more}}

Bell is wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting of Krymanie Peters.

Peters was shot on the morning of July 9, 2007 during J’Ouvert celebrations in Kingstown.

Both men are from Paul’s Avenue.

Acting Commissioner Pompey also appealed for persons with information related to the shooting death of Ian Brian Guy, also known as Brian Chandler or Southie, who was shot and killed on July 7th not too far from his home in Paul’s Avenue, to come forward.

Guy was shot three times, once each in the mouth, head and neck.

His death brings to three the number of killings in the area for the year to date, and follows a series of shootings in the vicinity.
