Rockies woman caught with drugs
A 27-year-old Rockies woman was granted bail in the sum of $25,000 after pleading not guilty to a drug possession charge at the Kingstown Magistratesâ Court on Monday.{{more}}
Nioka Marshall was arrested at the E.T Joshua Airport on Saturday, October 6, 2007, at 1.45 pm, and charged with having in her possession, with intent to supply to another, 58.3 pounds of cannabis. She was also charged with attempting to export the cannabis.
Police told SEARCHLIGHT that Marshall was on her way to Antigua.
She was ordered to surrender all travel documents to the police and report to the Central Police Station on Mondays and Wednesdays. (KW)
