In loving memory of IDA FERGUS
Sunrise: April 30, 1930
Sunset: November 23, 2005
Mother Dear, Youâre still here!
Mother Dear, oh, Mother Dear!
Just six short years and you were here!
You smiled; you left.
But youâre not gone.
No! Death has no power over the sun.
Â
You shine gloriously from your perfect place.
And our lives radiate in your sweet embrace
A marvelous garden nurtured with your prayers,
Weâre so grateful you anchored us throughout your years.
We mirror your strength, wisdom, and humour, too.
Your legacy propels everything that we do.
Â
Youâre our rock and our stay; you love us so much!
Even death cannot deface your gentle touch.
As hours chase moments, and decades appear,
Your sweet smile refutes our clouds of fear.
They run for cover, because you shineâ¦
in our hearts, our lives, until years decline.
Mother Dear, You smiled. You left.
But youâre still here!
Lovingly remembered by Marlene, Elroy, Gracita, Felicia, all her grandchildren, the entire Fergus family, many other relatives and friends.
