FOR DADDY

I see you in pictures, youâre still so real,

Youâre just a phone call away.
I canât grasp youâre gone, we just had tea,
I just called you the other day.

So fast I never had a chance
To really understand,
That day would be the last,
That I would never hold your hand.

For you I guess it was better,
You pain was over fast,
But Iâm left behind and I miss you,
My thoughts swirling in the past.

Sadly missed by wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, many other relatives and friends.
