PM receives award in Nicaragua

Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves was earlier this week awarded the “General Augusto Calderon Sandino Order in its Highest Degree (San Jacinto Battle)”.

He received the award on Tuesday in Nicaragua at the commemoration of the 43rd anniversary of the triumph of the Popular Sandinista Revolution, where he attended as the special guest of President of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega.

The award is the highest Nicaraguan Civilian Award that can be given to a National or Non-National.(API)
