High Performance athletes and supporters celebrate their Relay Classic win

The High Performance (HP) Club proved too much for the others last Saturday at the Diamond Track Facility.

Sporting the largest contingent of athletes, HP ran off with the bulk of the races. Dominating most of the age categories, HP won 18 events in total.

In the Female Division, HP copped the U-15, U-17 and U-20 4 x 100m. HP was also victorious in the U-17 and U-20 Sprint Relays, the U-17 and U-20 4 x 400m.

Among the Males, HP won the U-13, U-15 and U-17 4 x 100m. The Sprint Medleys were a similar tale for HP Males, winning in the U-15 and U-17 age groups. The U-13s and U-15s were also in winners row in the 4 x 200m.

Similarly, in the 4 x 400m, HP won the U-17, Under-20 and the Male 20 and over.

Preventing a clean sweep by HP were Chatoyer, IT- DAT Academy , X- Cel Track Club and Mustangs.

Chatoyer was victorious in the U-20 Males 4 x 100m and the Sprint Medley. IT-DAT Academy won the Females Distance Medley and X- Cel, the Male version; and, Mustangs copped the U-15 Females Sprint Medley.

The Relay Classic which saw a large turnout, also had participation from the St Martin’s Secondary School, the Roses Academy, the St Vincent Grammar School and the X -Ceed Sports Club.
