The St Vincent and the Grenadines Volleyball Association has a new executive to administer the affairs of the sport for the next four years.

Elected last Saturday at the Xpert Computer Centre Conference Room, Eardley Martin, who served in the top post before was installed as the new president. In a two -way race with Daryl Franklyn, Martin triumphed 11-4.

Franklyn was then given the task to be Martin’s deputy, as he was unchallenged. The same was the case with the other posts.

As such, Ankiah Forbes was elected unopposed as secretary; likewise Tenecia Wallace as treasurer and committee members in Devon Williams, Asmond Franklyn and Deseree Laborde.

Martin who lost the presidency in 2013 when he was defeated by Alana Mc Master, now replaces Suzanna Leigertwood- Ollivierre.

When Leigertwood took full rein of the association in March 2017, she had Jomadean May, as her vice-president; Shaquille Brancker, treasurer; Onika Morgan, secretary and committee members Nikita Campbell, Andrew Bramble and Earl Bennett.
