SVG Cycling Union to hold National Championships
This Sunday and Monday, June 5 and 6, respectively are the days set for the staging of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Cycling Union’s National Championships.
The two -day championships begin on Sunday with a Time Trial. From 6:00 a.m on that day cyclists will test their speed from the decommissioned E.T Joshua Airport tarmac to Belvedere.
Monday’s road race event will start at the tarmac, however the three categories will cover different distances.
Thus, the females will ride from the tarmac to Langley Park and end at Arnos Vale; the Masters’ route is from the tarmac to Tourama and finish also at Arnos Vale.
And, the Elite cyclists will travel from the tarmac to Tourama, to the Arnos Vale Roundabout, and head back out to Tourama, before returning to finish at Arnos Vale.
