Keegan’s Bequia XI had double wins last weekend in the Neil Williams T/20 Cricket Competition.

On Saturday, June 4, at Arnos Vale Two, Bequia XI stopped Victors Two by ten wickets. Victors Two reached 91/ 7 from their knock reduced to 16 overs because of rain.

Cosmus Hackshaw then stroked 4 fours and 6 sixes to be 54  not out, and Olanzo Billingy, 24 not out as the two took 5.1 overs to score 95 without loss.

Then on Sunday, June 5, Bequia XI registered a 158 run win over SVG Community College, also at Arnos Vale Two. Chelston Stowe; 63 not out, Jarrell Edwards, 52; and Jenry Ollivierre, 49, saw Bequia XI to 218/ 4 from their 20 overs. Kimron Strough copped 2/35.

In reply, SVG Community College made 60/6 from 11 overs. Coby Dabreo, 30.

Bowling for Bequia XI, Braxie Browne had 2/6; Chelson Stowe 2/12; and Meschack Williams 2/26.

Saturday’s other match saw Smashers outplaying Victors One by 98 runs at the Sion Hill Playing Field.

Rawdon Bentick, 68 not out; Ozico Williams, 57 not out; and Ronald Scott, 51 powered Smashers to 193/2 from 15 overs. Victors One, 95/6 from their 16 overs.

Jerando Jardine, 2/3 and Darren Russell, 2/26, bowling for Smashers.

On Sunday, Flow Rivals won from Strike Eagles who forfeited the match. Strike Eagles were dismissed for 72 from 15.5 overs at the Sion Hill Playing Field.

Strike Eagles were also beaten by Victors One at the same venue. Reshawn Lewis, 67 and Miles Bascombe, 38 led Victors One to 186/5 from 16 overs. Adinol Richards- 2/52.

 At the Stubbs Playing Field on Sunday, Vee Jays Restaurant North Windward beat Dominic Sutherland/ Lloyd Lewis/ New Haven Funeral Home by 302 runs.

North Windward amassed 343/1 from 20 overs. Shem Browne, 133 not out, Veno Da Souza, 109 not out and Sealroy Williams, 42.

In response Dominic Sutherland/ Lloyd Lewis/ New Haven Funeral Home, 41/3 in six overs.
